“The Particles of Vishnu serves as the powerful crescendo of the evening, a statement piece that bridges ancient reverence with contemporary reimagining–and personal gratitude for the artist’s family, loved ones and friends alongside his pride 
as Khmer citizen. 
Drawing inspiration from the incomplete Reclining Vishnu at the National Museum of Cambodia, this piece completes the odyssey of this exhibition: fusing Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage with my evolution as an artist. I reimagine the statue’s missing pieces as flying to rejoin its body, showing the power of our collective imagination and efforts to make whole of what may seem lost. And above all else, to show that we, like this iconic figure, are part and parcel of our wider community, culture, and nation.
