The Digital Process
“Created in Procreate, each piece begins with deliberate hand-drawn lines that shape every individual particle. Color breathes life into the structure, while layered shadows introduce depth and realism — allowing the composition to emerge from fragments into form.”
The Physical Process
After completing the digital process, Rotanak prints the work onto canvas and begins a careful physical enhancement. He applies gold leaf to introduce luminosity, allowing the surface to shift and glow under natural light.
He then adds neon paint to selected particles, which only reveal themselves under blacklight. This subtle intervention uncovers hidden elements and messages within the composition—inviting viewers to discover a quiet layer of concealed beauty.
